Happy Y2K3, Not so happy W2K.

You need to set your MBR to Default on the W2K partition, then you would
boot up with the W2K Boot disk and CD and when promted start Recovery
Console. You have get to WINDOWS recovery console in order to
repair/replace/fix your 'corrupted' files. Nothing else will work as well as
the cosole. When this done, set your MBR back to your bootmanager or
whatever you had it set to and then boot W2K in SAFE mode first just in
case.
