Login in access denied

Trying to upgrade our old computer, my wife installed win
2000 pro. We have no knowledge of this program and
cannot access the computer or restore it to the original
configuration. How do we get logged into the system?

Default username is PreferredCustomer and the password
is (?) Nothing works

Please help
