Do you have SCSI drives? If you've got a home computer, I doubt you have
SCSI drives, so that wouldn't apply to you.

Try using a different boot disk or method from:

http://securityadmin.info/faq.htm#password

For example, putting the hard drive into another computer and renaming the
SAM.* files would do the same thing.
