Hi!

I discovered an interesting thing with winXP and w2k. When you normaly
boot from the winXP CD and go to the console ( the command line thing
used for recovery etc. ), in order to access your XP file system ( XP
is installed on the computer ), it asks you for the administrator
password. But if you do the same with the "Windows 2000 Professional SP1"
CD, then it gives you access without asking for any password !

More a curiosity than a real security issue, IMHO, but still a thing
to consider.

Regards,
David Balazic
