You're either having hardware trouble or software trouble. Hackers don't
cause hardware trouble. Software problems means that your computer is not
permanently broken, just some software may need to be reinstalled.
I would take your computer to a store that does computer repair. Buying a
computer is like buying a car; you have to expect to know either how to fix
it yourself or expect to pay $20 or so every now and then to have it looked
at. This is much less frustrating than calling Microsoft or anyone else.
Be sure they understand that the computer is under warranty, or else they
may charge you for parts you didn't need to pay for.
If you're having hardware trouble, the hardware [and not the software] parts
of the computer should still be under warranty. The original manufacturer,
and not Microsoft, would be the one to help you with that.
However, I suspect this is a software problem, very possibly caused by a
virus. You could try installing antivirus software such as the free
www.grisoft.com software, or buy Norton for around $10 to $20 US from
Walmart or Target or any large department store or computer store.
Either way, a computer store that does repairs should help reduce your
stress. Either way, Microsoft will help you for a fee, but they are not the
ones I would probably blame for all this.
After you get your computer back, be sure you are running antivirus that is
set to download updates automatically every week or so, and probably also a
firewall such as the free www.sygate.com firewall.
Next time you buy a computer, buy one from www.dell.com and get the extra
support warranty they offer.
