auto logoff user

I have apply
"Automatically log off users when logon time expires
(local)" & "Automatically log off users when logon time
expires" policies under
Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security
Settings\Local Policies\Security Options, but forced
logoff doesn't happen. Why?
