I tried to apply this patch thru the windows update site
and it failed twice. I went to the Q328310 page and from
there to the MS02-071 bulletin page and installed from
there. It worked from that page but it wiped out a
significant number of my desktop shortcut icons and in
particular shortcuts to other computers (AS/400's). Were
these shortcuts backed up? If so, where could I find them
or how could I search for them? Thanks for your help.
