I'm trying to create a logon (warning) banner that will
show up on everyone's screen before the sign-on screen
comes up. On the server, I have set the LegalNoticeCaption
and the LegalNoticeText in the registry. I have also tried
using the sytem policy editor, by selecting the logon
banner option and typing in the text(warning msg.). When I
do either one the the things I mentioned above, the banner
only appears when you log onto the server directly, the
users do not receive this message when they onto their
desktop pc. Their on a domain so their logging into the
server indirectly. I am running windows 2000 advanced
server and the desktop pc's are running win98 and win2000.
How can I get a warning banner to appear before you can
sign on, when anyone tries to log into the network.
Thanks in advance.....
Corinda
