Certificates issue

Hi,

I've a Certificate Server Structure in two Windows 2000 servers. One server
is an Enterprise Root and the other one is an Enterprise Subordinate
Certificate Server.

My questions is:

Who is giving me the certificates, The Enterprise root server or the
Enterprise Subordinate Server?

Can I configure Certificate Server so I issue the certificates from
Enterprise Subordinate Server?
