If you are just interested in saving your data, Give the NTFS for DOS
utility a shot. Its from Sysinternals.
Have you tried to reinstall 2K?
Your idea of changing to FAT32 would probably work but 2K may try to
load the NTFS driver and blue screen. You would probably have to install
a parallel copy of 2k to get around that.
