Yes, I can get to a recovery console prompt -this is an NTFS file system. I
was able to copy files from the disk in the Recovery Console loaded from
floppies but the recovery console from the disk cannot be accesed; it cannot
even load the keyboard from disk! Yes I can delete files from it but not
copy to it. I tried accesing it from Windows XP but it won't give me acces
either. It seems that the acces control list needs to be changed from the
recovery console and the limited set of commands of the recovery console
won't suport that - unless I can run external commands which I doubt because
it would defeat the security features purpose. I deleted the security file
in the config directory after copying to floppy -of course, but it seems the
changes need to be made at the file attributes. I thought copying the
partition and converting it to FAT32 and then back to NTFS but I am not sure
what would happen, if I am going to lose something I need.
