I'm trying to make a new DC in our network.
We have one W2K AD server and a couple of stand alone servers.
I'm trying to uppgrade one of these using the AD wisard. everything
work fine until the end of the operation when the accualy transform
are supose to take place.

This is the massage that shows:
"The operation failed because: Failed to modify the necessary
properties for the machine account COMPUTERNAME$ "Access is denied.
""

Is there any one that hade a simulare problem?

The server is a member i the domain. I made a user account localy on
the server that match that one in the AD.
