administrator password

Silly me !! I changed the administrator's password and now
can't remember it. Is there a way of either retrieving
it, or replacing it?
Fortunately I have a second user account but this has
limited and restricted access rights to most things, and
no access at all to my data files or setups.
Can anyone help? please....
