Thanks Ivan.
I seem to have a problem with WinMgmt.
I tried what you said, and when hitting "Login" to root\cimv2 (with no name
or password or anything), I get the error:
Number: 0x8004100a
Facility: WMI
Description: Critical error
If I check "None" in Authentication Level, I get this:
Number: 0x80041014
Facility: WMI
Description: Initialization failure
I also have many error logs in the Application Log like this:
"WinMgmt could not open the repository file. This could be due to
insufficient access to the WBEM\Repository, insufficient disk space or
insufficient memory."
I have plenty of disk space and memory (512MB Ram).
Is there a way to re-install WinMgmgt? Or just the repository file?
If you can't quickly answer here I'll post in the WinMgmt NG you mentioned,
but I couldn't find it on the news.microsoft.com server.
