Hmm, weird. As far as I know, it can't happen without the messenger
service being active...
But on Windows XP (and I think, Win2000 SP3...), not having Messenger
nor Outlook Express running, would not be enough. I believe that XP (and
2000 SP3) has the service running at all times... unless you disable it
of course...
I don't like XP and all its derivatives (yes, 2000 SP3 is Microsoft's
last attempt at XP'ing Windows 2000...).
