My OS is W2KP. I am the only user. I was on the Windows
Update site today, d/l the Service Pack 3, when a window
popped up, entitled "Windows Security Alert 2319". It said
that my banking and credit card information could be
detected and I should visit the web site
http://beam.to/pcsafety.I wonder if it was just a
coincidence that the ad occured while I was on the Windows
Update site, or are those who visit it targeted? It was as
if these people were pretending to be an official MS
source.
