Changed machine and domain name, can't login

Apologies for the double post, wasn't sure if this should
go in general or security.

I changed the machine name and domain name on my laptop
running W2K Professional. After rebooting I can no longer
login. The old username and password do not work, get
message:

"The system could not log you on. etc..."

Tried searching the Knowledge Base but no luck so far.
Any suggestions ?
