The Sims. I foolishly assumed that I could install it as
Admin and everyone else would be able to use it. BZZzzzT!
Wrong. I copied the Maxis folder from Docs&Settings/Admin
to the AllUser tree, added AuthenticatedUsers to the permissions
on the copy, still didn't work. Uninstalled, cleaned registry
of Maxis and Sims data and re-installed as a power user. It
still insists that only Admin can run it.
I also installed a set of Hoyle games (Board Games, Cards games, etc)
the same way. They run, but you immediately get stuck trying
to create a new user within the games.
Clues?
Thx, Chris
