You have to set up user(s) on the Win 2k computer. Right click my computer,
select manage. Expand "Local Users and Groups" , right click "users" and
select "new". Set up the new user using the same username and password used
to log on to the Win 98 computer. Give the new user proper permission to the
shared printer or folder in the properties of the shared object.

FYI Win 2k, like all other MS OSes except the "Server" versions, only accept
10 concurrent connections.
