I am from a cisco background and lost in the world of windows service packs,
patches and hotfixes. Can anyone definitively tell me whether win2k can
implement any EAP or LEAP features from 802.1x? If so what service pack,
hotfixes etc are needed because the microsoft website surprisingly doeasn`t
seem to answer this questionclearly. Having read some of the postings on
this newsgroup it would appear that SP2 implements 802.1x but not SP3. But
according to the cisco documentation, 802.1x works with SP3 and a "windows
2000 wireless 802.1x hot fix". Has anyone stumbled across this mythical
beast? Many thanks.
