Hi
Last time when i shutting down my w2k ... first time I've got a message:
Delayed Write Failed...

After restart i found this in Event Viewer:
Application popup: Windows - Delayed Write Failed : Windows was unable to
save all the data for the file \Device\HarddiskVolume6\Documents\C++. The
data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer
hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.

So ... here is my questions:
why it's written that it can't save a file while it is a directory?!?!
i don't know if i had lost some file(s) from the specified directory
(...\Documents\C++) - i have lots files in there ... is it possible?
maybe windows couldn't set any attributes of the directory or something?
do you have any conclusions?

and additional (may helpful) info:
i've done chkdsk ... no problems were found ...
the message wasn't shown another time

ps. please forgive my english!
best regards
