Hi,

Suddenly W2K Pro has started a new trick. When I enter my
password the regular, Loading preferences window begins
for about a second, then a window flies by so fast I can't
read it, then I'm back at the enter password window. If I
type the wrong password it's rejected as being wrong in
the normal way.

My password is accepted in Safe Mode so I can access
things from there.

Thanks a bunch for any help or suggestions you can offer.
