I'd say that the exact usage is 4.5GB. Don't forget that every
directory also takes up one block of space. But I think that you may
have forgotten some files when you added up the space.

However, you're best bet is to clean up the drive. Firstly, if you
have any files on the desktop, move them off and put them on a drive
with some space. The desktop files will live in your profile, and this
will probably be on the C: drive. Next right click my computer, and
look at the user profiles. If there any profiles from people who use
your computer delete them all, except local admin, domain admin and
yourself. Clear out the Internet Temporary files, and clear out your
history.

Look in any temp folders and delete any temp files.

Finally, move your swap file to another drive with more space. I'm not
sure how this is accomplished on win2000 since I'm not currently using
it at home, but as I recall, it's in the Performamce Options.
