Hi,
It all depends how busy you want to get at setting up your
laptops. Standalone firewalls will do the trick, but what
happens when you want to make a couple of config changes??
You will find that you will need to make quite a few
changes, specially at the beginning.
Epolicy orchestrator allows you to deploy and configure
your firewall installs from a central point. Just one
config an the next time the laptop logs in, changes are
propagated.
Take this opportunity to put your antivirus on Epolicy as well.
We use this and we are very happy with the results,
although I personally don't like the McAfee firewall (not
that it does not do the job, but it is a bit tedious to
configure)
Hope it helps
