Last weekend I changed the Administrator password on all my workgroup
network servers(2) and workstations (40), rebooted, and logged in no
problem.
Fun part is I can no longer change file/directory rights to a remote
machine from a machine logged in with the administrator account and
password. Local logon, file/directory rights no problems

If I go to file/directory properties I get the message
"You are logged on with an acount that does not have access to <server>
Enter the name and password of an account for this domain and click OK"

This is a workgroup, never involved with a domain; Administrator account
and password on all machines the same

I completely shut down the network last night, did not help.

Norton anti virus CE 8.0 scan found no viruses

Very good hardware firewall between my Net and the outside world

Tried creating a new user with admin rights, did not help

Any information on the problem would be appreciated

Thanks
Paul Meiners
