Search Microsoft support for an article on DNS cache.
It's a file in the winnt\system32\drivers\etc directory (i think... it was a
long time ago).
It has a list of DNS servers in it A,B,C...etc. that Microsoft DNS uses.
There's a Q article that suggests changing the top two of these to your ISP
primary and Secondary DNS servers to improve DNS.
We followed the MS article to the letter and got great results.
