sp3 problem

Hello
I applied sp3 for windows 2000 advanced server, then the
surprise that we could not add new clients to the domain!
So I removed sp3, however somtiems new client can join the
domain, but if te new client fail to join, the domain
controler restart!! anyone please has explainatin for this?
I appreciate your help
