I got a new PC installed in 1st week of May 2002 with
Windows 2000 Professional OS. I am the only user of the
machine and have my username and password.

Today I tried to install Norton Antivirus 2002 program on
my m/c.Computer asks for the "Administrator Password",
which none of us are knowing including the supplier of the
m/c. I am unable to install/ uninstall any program due to
this problem.

What is remedy?

I don't want to reformat the had disk and reload
everything a fresh, as I am having a no. of files on the
m/c.
