Check event viewer for any clues and set up logon auditing for
failures to see what it reports in event viewer. Check the user account
properties to see if it has been deactivated or such. Try creating a new
account and see if the same thing happens to it. Check local security policy
to be sure that users have local log on priviliges, though usually you will
get an error message right away if it is not allowed. --- Steve
