Subject: Re: forgot admin password
a. http://www.sysinternals.com - ERD Commander 2002
b. http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/
c. http://www.dmzs.com/tools/files/
d. http://www.nmrc.org/files/snt/index.html - bootdisk.bin
e. http://www.sunbelt-software.com - NTAccess
f. http://www.2600slc.org/texts/SAM_Files.txt
These tools will allow a reset of the password
without knowing what the orginal was.
All require a re-boot of the system.
I have used options a, b, c, d. I like ERD Commander
but it is expensive, I would suggest trying
(b) ntpasswd, it does work and is free.
(c) boot cdrom (ISO) version of b.
(d) another version of b.
(e) commercial software
This will get you bak on-line, after that check security rights
for local logon.
