Use the linux boot disk. It's quick and relativley painless. What you're
doing is resetting the administrator password so you can then log on as
administrator.

You won't be able to able to easily maintain your existing profiles when you
reinstall. You could use ntfsdos pro to copy your files so you could merge
them after reinstalling, but it would be a lot simpler to reset the admin
password.
