Problems with Service Pack 3

I've a server with Windows 2000 server sp2 and serveral clients with Windows
2000 profesional sp2, and all work properly. Today I upgrade a client to sp3
and after the upgrade I can not manage from the server.
Somebody has any idea about the problem?.
Is necesary that the server has sp3 too?-
