If you are the administrator you can "take ownership" of the folder.

Right click the folder ---> Goto "Properties" --> "Security tab" -->
"Advanced" button ---> "Owner" tab --->

In the "Change owner to:" Dialog box choose the administrator

You should now have full control of the folder.
