Cached Credentials

Good afternoon all.

Im trying to solve a chached credintials problem.
Everytime i log into my box (windows 2000 pro sp2)off the
network, i get a notice of "a domain controler for your
domain could not be found. You have been logged on using
your chached credentials....". I have tried to supress
this notice by creating a registry value
of "ReportControllerMissing" in the
key "Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\winlogon" but does not work. Any ideas
of what else i can do?
