Windows Storage Protection

The user logs onto the internet through "Internet Explorer
6". The site is "Ameritrade". For some reason "Windows
Storage Protection" pops up and Freezes. The user is
unable to cancel, or Exit the pop up. The only way to get
rid of it is through "Task Manager" ending the process.
Please advise.
