Subject: Re: forgot admin password
a. http://www.sysinternals.com - ERD Commander 2002
b. http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/
c. http://www.dmzs.com/tools/files/
d. http://www.nmrc.org/files/snt/index.html
e. http://www.sunbelt-software.com - NTAccess
f. http://www.2600slc.org/texts/SAM_Files.txt
These tools will allow a reset of the password
without knowing what the orginal was.
All require a re-boot of the system.
I have used options a, b, c, d. I like ERD Commander
but it is expensive, I would suggest trying
(b) ntpasswd, it does work and is free.
For a school system I would suggest getting ERD commander,
expensive but good for repair of crashed systems.
