Admin Password Recovery

Hi,
   I work for a public school system and one of the kids
changed the Admin password aon a windows 2000, SP2
computer. We have policy in place on our domain, but this
was done before the computer joined. We have a lot of
software installed and would like to not have to reinstall
it all. Any ideas on how to recover the password? Thanks.
