Try creating a share on a folder one step up from where you're creating it
and then access the folder through that new share. Also make sure that there
are no deny access control entries for the user you're having problems with.

I actually did see a similar thing once where I had this problem on a single
share. I dropped the share an recreated it and it worked fine again. The
problem was due to a faulty disk in a SAN which caused the MFT to be
corrupted.
