SMTP banner mods ?

I have modified our smtp banner to remove the smtp version number and
all is well.

What I would like to do is alter the Fully Qualified Domain Name in the
banner.

Is it ok to go into LM-SMTPSVC-Virtual Server # and edit Fully Qualified

Domain Name (id36935) to a fiction name (were_ not_ worth_hacking.com) .

Or is this likely to cause us a problem? At the moment it has the wrong
information there but is close enough to help someone along the way who
want access.
