Login as administrator, using the password for that account. Then run
mmc.exe and add the Local users and groups snap-in. From there, you should
be able to re-set the password of any local user.
If not, and this was in fact the administrator account that you've forgotten
the password to, look here:
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html for instructions on
making a bootdisk to cure this problem - but exercise caution when.using the
disk.
On the off-chance this is a win98 type question posted to the wrong group -
find some .pwl files and delete them.
