Hi!
According to guides on patch deployment all updates should be evaluated and
tested in lab environment before deployed to a server. This is for checking
that the update is not affecting the system or the applications running on
the server.
My problem is that we have at lease 40 third part applications (many of them
critical) running on NT/W2K servers managed by one administrator.
Unfortunaly I will never get fundings to buy extra servers (in my case I
would say 3 servers as minimum) and the time that it costs for consultants
to set up a our third part applications in a lab environment. Any
suggestions? Or should I trust that uninstalling an update will restore the
function of the system/application?
Please advice.
Thanks
