No, I'm not talking about the power-up/setup passwords,
that one can set from within the cmos/bios.

Windows is starting up normally, then presenting me with
a "Windows 2000 start up password" which I do provide,
after which the boot-proces continues with starting up
all the services and then asking me for the net/domain
logon password.

Under NT, this is called "NT Start".
