Open a dos prompt on the problem machine and run nbtstat -c
what do you see? If you don't see a 1b, 1c, 00 and 020 names
in the cache then your lmhosts file isn't correct. Once you verify
name resolution is correct you have to look at something blocking
or filtering Netbios traffic or perhaps Netbios isn't enabled in the
tcp/ip properties. Make sure lmhosts lookup is checked also.
