What kind of servers do you have? I assume Windows. If so, go to
www.microsoft.com/security, and read up as much as possible. They have free
scanners there that will check your servers for needed updates, and security
misconfigurations. In addition, they have patches, patch management
software, utilities to lock down your webserver, many how-to's, and tons
more. Play with their tools in a test environment to see how they work,
then use them. Good luck!
