I was changing some of the Security Properties of some of
the files and folders in a Win 2000 Adv Server. For those
files and folders, I removed "Everybody" and
add "Administrator" to make sure only Administrator have
any permission to those files. For a set of files in a
certain directory, I need to change back the permission of
some of those files to "Everybody". However, Windows keep
complaining that I don't have enough permission for
changing any properties for those files. I have tried to
log in as the machine's administrator and the domain's
administrator. But it is the same error. I can't even
copy those file to a different folder. What can I do to
become the owner of those files again? Thanks

Scott
