I am currently running a Windows 2000 domain. A user
attempted to set permissions on a specific file, That is
he tried to add only the users he wanted to have access.
Right clicked the file, went to properties, and hit "Add".
The "Look In" box only displays the file server and not
the actual domain and is grayed out.
The file resides in a folder on the network that the user
has full control of.
I removed the inheritable permissions.
I logged in as an administrator and got the same thing.
How in the name of all that's holy do I "un-gray" the Look
In box to see the entire domain and the users contained
there in???
Ay help is much appreciated!!
