windows 2000 IPsec authentication with certificates

I am currently using pre-shared keys for ip sec authentication. I
would like to experiment with certificates. What kind of certficates
will work? I was looking on verisign's web site. Would just a regular
128bit ssl cert do? I mean the one I see on verisign are for web
servers.
