Sounds reasonable but I have an even dumber question. I almost tried what
you are suggestion but since I can't get into the system any other way than
by booting into Directory Services Restore Safe Mode I figured I would not
be able to run DCPROMO. Can I run DCPROMO while running in Directory
Services Restore Safe Mode
