There may be a way through group policy to cause this. I was trying to
determine if it might be the result of a user setting a timeout to lock the
workstation. In a workgroup setting, they can be very difficult to deal
with. Mostly they know just enough to cause everyone else problems. (I had
one guy who browsed porn sites and went to great lengths to keep others from
seeing his desktop. Others were just concerned that someone from another
lab might see their data by accident.)
