Reinstall windows and use that copy of windows to access the files. I doubt
you'll be able to recover any files from C:, so you could format C: and
install there. Although if the partition is corrupt because of impending
hardware failure in your hard drive, you could lose data again if the drive
crashes again. If you have another windows NT/2000/xp computer, you could
put the bad hard drive into that computer and copy the files. I would say
give up on copying files from recovery console.
